The sadness that is human apathy
I'm so glad I found my old blog here. It's now 2018 and still, facebook has become a depressing bore. Because. People. It is all still the same. People don't have anything deep to contribute...they only want to be entertained by animal videos and some shallow new age quote made into a meme. I'm aware, here too,...no one desires to read my sorrows. But alas, it is at least a quiet place for me to write to my hearts' content...even if I am again "talking to myself". I have such an amazing husband and three precious children. I'm so grateful that they like me...and still love me at my worst! I've been so sad lately...not only because I'm reminded of a fallen world by social media, but because I so greatly miss my mom and dad. It's a loneliness and grief that stays. They were my direct heritage links ... now gone from this temporal place. I wonder what people think of me. Do they view me as someone who has it easy? Or do they have an inkling of the suffering....of the challenges? Perhaps. Usually though, people have to go through the same grief to really understand its depths. I have so much I want to say...but so little places to put those sayings. Oh well....I will get back to my day of rest and crochet. Till next time google blogger lol.

The Rainbow: God's Promise
Stepped outside today ....to see bright sunshine on it's way towards setting ...and a light, peaceful patch of rain shower....then turn to see this beautiful arched rainbow! My oldest baby LOVES rainbows...so seeing this real rainbow with every color clearly observed---it was a blessing. It was one of the largest and clearest rainbows Ive ever seen in person. Every time I do see one in the sky it's so overwhelming for me. It represents His promise to us. It's a loving reminder of our Heavenly Father's love and protection. It's the spectrum of His Majesty is my best way to put it :O) This photo that I took does not do it justice but I am very happy it is a captured moment we can record.

Cats & Yarn...& other news...
Awwww, look everyone....it's Miss Kitty sleeping above me while I knit. I had to take a pic after getting up and turning around to see her dreaming away kitty style. I love kitties and yarn ...they are so cute together in pics. This work in progress is a onesie for a baby boy. I'm usually knitting girly things...but I occasionally like to mix things up and knit for little gentlemen too :O) I eventually will get around to starting a sweater for my handsome husband ...never thought I'd be knitting men's wear but the pattern I found is super manly style for my super manly husband lol ...I love knitting for my family!

I LOVE YARN (6-19-2012)
Yesterday I the Queen, and Princess #1 both hand painted a lovely hank of 100% wool yarn. From the start, I loved it's country wooly scent :O) The process of dyeing yarn takes a while, but the results are so rewarding. Cannot wait to experiment with other natural dyes. I plan to start spinning my own yarn someday soon. Well, I really have nothing else to say for today---so continue to enjoy looking at this picture of my beautiful hand painted "rainbow yarn"!
